Any volleyball event benefits from a shared live scoreboard — from a 6-team school cup where parents want to know the results before they arrive to pick up their kids, to a 24-team regional championship where teams in one hall want to follow results from the other gym across town.
VolleyDesk's scoreboard is also used during livestreams as the data source for the on-screen score bug, eliminating the need for a second operator manually updating graphics.
If you stream your tournament on YouTube or Facebook, VolleyDesk provides a browser source URL that shows a live score bug — the score, team names and set count in a clean graphic that updates in real time.
Add it in OBS Studio or Prism Live Studio as a Browser Source. The graphic pulls from the same live data the referee is entering — no second operator, no manual score entry during the stream.

Does the scoreboard refresh automatically?
Yes. The public page uses real-time updates — spectators do not need to refresh. Scores appear within about one second of the referee tapping.
Can I embed the scoreboard on my club website?
You can share the public link on any website or social media. A dedicated embed widget is on the roadmap.
What happens if the referee loses internet connection?
The referee panel caches the current score locally. When the connection returns, the score syncs. In venues with poor Wi-Fi, a mobile data hotspot on the referee's phone is the most reliable setup.
Is the scoreboard free?
Yes, completely free. Create an account at volleydesk.eu, set up a tournament and the live public scoreboard is included automatically.
