Spectators follow every court live on one public page — current score, pool standings and bracket progression all visible simultaneously.
Digital scoresheet using beach volleyball rules (21 points, 15 in decider). Works on any phone — no paper needed on the court.
Teams register online via a link. The system collects pair names, contacts and (optionally) payment confirmation before the event.
Generates the full match schedule across your courts respecting rest times between matches for each pair.
Mobile-optimized. Referees and players access the system on phones — no gym router needed, mobile data is enough.
VolleyDesk's beach volleyball module uses standard FIVB scoring:
Share the registration link. Pairs sign up online with names and contacts. Or add them manually in the director panel.
VolleyDesk groups pairs into pools and generates the full round-robin schedule. Edit match times if needed for your court availability.
Each court referee uses a phone link to score. Pool standings update live as matches finish. Pairs advancing to the bracket are calculated automatically.
The bracket fills in as pool play completes. Referees get new links for bracket matches. The final and placement matches run on the same system.
Many volleyball clubs run combined events: indoor tournament in the morning, beach tournament in the afternoon (or simultaneously if courts allow). VolleyDesk handles both from the same organizer account. Teams, results and schedules are kept separate but managed in one place. The public scoreboard page lists both events.
How many pairs can a beach volleyball tournament have?
VolleyDesk handles anywhere from 4 to 30+ pairs. The pool structure adapts automatically — more pairs means more pools. Common formats are 4-pair pools with top 2 advancing or 3-pair pools with top 2 advancing.
Can I have mixed (men + women) pools?
Yes. The tournament does not enforce gender separation — you can create mixed draws, separate men's and women's draws, or any combination by setting up multiple separate tournament instances.
Does the system work without internet on the beach courts?
The referee panel works on mobile data. If the beach has no signal at all, scores can be entered after reconnecting. For reliable outdoor coverage, a mobile Wi-Fi router is recommended for large events.
Is beach volleyball free in VolleyDesk?
Yes. Beach volleyball tournaments are included in the free plan at no charge.
